To support this growing initiative, we're looking for a Growth Marketer who can help us expand and engage this expert community. This is a contract position ( 20 hours per week), based onsite at our San Francisco office, where you'll collaborate closely with product, operations, and engineering teams.

About the Role

As our Growth Marketer, you'll play a key role in bridging academia and industry, ensuring that our AI research community is continually growing, motivated, and well-supported. You'll be the driving force behind campaigns that attract new talent, deepen engagement, and strengthen our brand among researchers and subject matter experts.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to grow our AI expert network
  • Lead campaigns across email, content, social media, and paid channels (LinkedIn, Google, Meta, etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch targeted outreach to universities and academic institutions
  • Optimize digital efforts using A/B testing, analytics, and performance metrics
  • Develop lifecycle marketing flows that nurture and retain expert community members
  • Manage social presence on platforms like LinkedIn and research-focused forums
  • Apply SEO best practices to enhance visibility and discoverability
Qualifications

4+ years in growth marketing, ideally targeting technical or academic audiences

Required Skills
  • Experience across digital channels: SEO, paid ads, CRM, social media, and content
  • Hands-on with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, Iterable
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and excited about building in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • A passion for AI, research communities, or bridging academia and tech is a major plus.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Iterable or similar CRM tools
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, data labeling, or model evaluation
