DescriptionGroups and Events Host The Funplex Amusement Center is the ultimate destination for Family FUN. We offer a high energy environment, great food and beverage, and rides and attractions that will be enjoyed by all ages. We are looking for energetic, friendly people to join our Groups and Events Host team for our Mount Laurel location.
Summary As the Groups & Events Host, your role will be
- Helping with the set up for groups & events
- Welcoming and checking in guests and groups
- Explaining packages to the groups at check-in and throughout the day
- Serving meals and beverages and help with the clean up
- Interacting with guests, children and chaperones
- Ensuring groups and event guests are satisfied with their visit
- Being a liaison between the group and the Groups office
- Enforcing all rules and regulations of The Funplex
- Group Hosts who go above and beyond will be given more opportunities to work on Corporate and Special Events.
Requirements - Must have an energetic, outgoing personality and is able to get along with a variety of personalities.
- Applicants must work well with others and excel in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays

About the Organization Lahn Hospitality Group is a growing family-owned company comprised of a variety of hospitality businesses including amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses and more.
Since 1997, The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with two locations along the East Coast. The parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades.
In December 2021, Lahn Hospitality Group purchased The Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, NJ, a country club with a prestigious golf course and membership. The club underwent significant renovation including a new restaurant, atrium event facility, and much more. In the fall of 2023 LHAG opened its first dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, complete with 125 rooms and the first in the area to combine two different Wyndham brands.
