Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for hospitality and building meaningful client relationships? Wurzak Hotel Group is seeking a
Group Rooms Sales Manager to join our team and drive success across our portfolio.
In this high-impact role, you will be the face of the company to clients, industry partners, and community stakeholders. You'll be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities within your assigned market(s)-from identifying leads to closing the deal.
What you'll do: - Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized group room and event proposals that exceed expectations.
- Sell our impressive meeting and banquet spaces, including 13 versatile event spaces totaling over 12,800 sq. ft., with our largest venue accommodating up to 600 guests-perfect for both corporate and social gatherings.
- Negotiate and close group room blocks and event space, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Collaborate across hotel departments and corporate leadership to ensure a seamless guest experience from booking to execution.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and client presentations to grow market share and brand recognition.
Education and Experience: - Four-year college degree in hospitality management, marketing, business or related degree; or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of hotel sales related experience, including catering and group room sales.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.
- Familiarity with Delphi system preferred.
- Ability to travel locally and overnight.
