Location: Washington, District of Columbia - On-Site, In Person Position

Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing
Job Summary: As Groups Coordinator, you will perform routine procedures in order to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction and will work to develop future and repeat business opportunities in groups.
Key Responsibilities: - Receives and enters in all contracts in the system.
- Receives and enters in all rooming lists.
- Works with Pass Key.
- Focuses on Rooming list and cut-off dates.
- Liaison with sales and group events managers.
- Attends group pick up meetings.
- Works with Marketing Analyst to ensure blocks in R&I are balanced with Delphi.
- Oversees addendum to contracts.
- Works with group clients to ensure they receive pick-up reports, rooming list, etc.
- Manage telephone and email enquiries in a prompt and professional manner and in accordance with company standards ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
- Understand seasonal and historical trends and work within them to ensure maximum occupancy and average room rates.
- Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business.
- Manage administrative requests as directed by the Management Team.
- Manage an events schedule to maximize yield.
- Build strong relationships with customers, Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively.
- Reservations policies and procedures are followed to ensure Guest satisfaction.
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Ideal candidates have a minimum of 1 year in customer service, are bilingual, and have previous experience working in hotels.
- Good organizational and administration skills
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Confident telephone manners
- High level of IT skills
- Excellent grooming standards
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
