An exciting opportunity to assist with the management of financial reporting for the ZPG Group (both internally and externally). Reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager, the Group Reporting Finance Manager will play a pivotal role within the Group finance team by ensuring delivery of the Group's monthly consolidated management accounts, annual consolidated statutory IFRS accounts, preparation of lender and board packs, key cash flow reporting analysis (monthly and annual), and supporting with key stakeholder requests.
This is a highly visible role in a fast paced, demanding, private equity led tech Group and is critical to ensure the business meets its reporting requirements in an accurate, timely and compliant manner.
What you'll be doing:
Group finance - Manage internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and corporate guidelines.
- Manage the consolidation process across all entities, ensuring consistent accounting treatment across the Group including intercompany and central cost recharge process
- Manage and review cash flow forecasting for trading divisions and preparation of holding company and external debt forecasting
- Own P&L items below EBITDA such as share based payments, amortisation of acquired intangibles, exceptional costs, interest and hedging
- Maintain and update the Group's financial policies and procedures
- Review and finalisation of monthly Group consolidated management accounts
- Preparation and delivery of year end statutory audits
- Plan and manage the Group's divisions with regards to year-end audits
- Liaise with key external parties including auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, investors and rating agencies
- Review of subsidiary financial statements (prepared by divisional finance teams)
- Identify and implement process and reporting improvements across the Group
- Deputise for and assist the Senior Group Finance Manager as appropriate
Technical accounting - Monitor for updates to financial reporting requirements
- Investigate and recommend accounting and reporting requirements and assess the accounting implications resulting from commercial decisions
- Review of IFRS adjustments for inclusion in monthly management accounts
- Acquisitions and disposals assistance
- Goodwill and intangibles impairment reviews
- Accounting of LTIPs and share based payment charges
- Other significant transactions and commitments
Treasury - Own consolidated cashflow forecasting and review of divisional submissions
- Assist on Group treasury matters and assist on the review of the effectiveness of new instruments
- Assist with the management of the Group's debt facility including the periodic submission of rollover notices, drawdowns, interest and hedging payments and covenant reporting
What we're looking for
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant, Minimum +4 years PQE (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience of group reporting and consolidations in a fast paced, demanding environment, or audit experience with equivalent Groups
- Treasury experience (cash flow forecasting), or audit experience with equivalent Groups
- Highly competent in IFRS
- Strong excel skills

Desirable skills - Top 10 audit firm experience
- Experience with Netsuite
- Previous dealings and experience of working with private equity firms
- TMT experience (Technology, Media and Communications)
