One of our companies is currently looking for a Group Payroll Manager in United States.

As a Group Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll operations for multiple locations and platforms within the organization. You will ensure compliance with all payroll laws, maintain data accuracy, and optimize payroll processes and systems. You will also lead a team of payroll specialists, manage audits, generate reports, and collaborate with various departments to ensure a seamless payroll function. The role requires expertise in payroll systems, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple locations.
  • Lead a team of payroll specialists, setting performance goals, providing training, and promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Manage the payroll systems used across the company, ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and recommending improvements or system upgrades.
  • Generate detailed payroll reports and analytics to aid strategic business decisions and align payroll data with company budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to maintain a seamless payroll process and address employee concerns.
  • Identify inefficiencies in payroll processes and implement best practices to optimize workflows and system functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of progressive payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location environment, using ADP Workforce Now and Workday.
  • PayrollOrg Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) is a plus.
  • Strong experience with ADP custom reporting and Smart Compliance is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with a focus on delivering precise results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level) and comfortable using other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for collaboration and learning.
  • Strong process improvement mindset, with a hands-on approach and willingness to dive into day-to-day payroll tasks.
  • Ability to travel 15-20% of the time.
