The Group Fitness Lead Instructor supports the District GXC by leading high-quality classes, providing instructor support, and enhancing the overall member experience through positive energy and consistent leadership. This role helps maintain studio readiness and fosters a strong sense of community within the club.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach all scheduled classes with energy and professionalism.

- Encourage class participation and support member fitness goals.

- Help coordinate substitute instructors and support new instructor auditions.

- Maintain studio cleanliness and report equipment or facility issues.

- Assist in planning and participating in quarterly launch events.

- Attend staff meetings and support community-building activities.

- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes engagement and retention.

- Represent TruFit at club and company events as needed.

- Work closely with District GXC on various projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of group fitness instruction; leadership experience preferred.

- Strong class leadership presence and ability to lead safe, effective workouts.

- Working knowledge of group fitness formats and musical timing.

- Current Group Fitness or Specialty Certification from an accredited provider.

- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with a diverse member base.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • CPR certified
