We are a newly established residential treatment center in Knoxville, TN, specializing in treating adults with primary mental health disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders. We offer a therapeutic, supportive environment where clients can safely heal and recover under 24/7 care.
Position Overview:
We are seeking both a Full-Time Group Facilitator and a Weekend Group Facilitator to lead engaging, therapeutic groups for our residents. This role is essential in supporting our clients' recovery journeys through evidence-based group interventions promoting growth, insight, and peer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a variety of therapeutic, educational, and process groups (CBT skills, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, mindfulness, psychoeducation, etc.).
- Develop group curriculum and interactive activities with other Group Facilitators.
- Document group notes and client participation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with clinical and medical teams.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field for Full-Time position.
- Acceptable: Associate's degree or certification in behavioral health, peer recovery, or related area with equivalent experience for Weekend position.
- Group Facilitator experience, a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health, mental health, or substance use setting.
- Experience with co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care preferred.
