KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Front End: Deliver an exceptional CHEF'STORE experience to customers, developing relationships and providing assistance as needed.
- Manage sales and cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Verify and ensure correct pricing and product availability, addressing any issues promptly with team leaders.
- Perform visual inspections for product tampering and assist in receipt verification after purchase.
- Sales Floor and Stocking: Facilitate customer access to desired products while promoting in-store services.
- Assist with receiving inventory shipments, ensuring organized, neat displays, and adhering to quality audits.
- Maintain the sales floor cleanliness and ensure the proper label placement on products.
- Engage in daily restocking of merchandise using organized FIFO practices to maximize freshness.
- Contribute to various inventory processes as needed.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Enjoy a dynamic retail setting with varied temperatures and responsibilities. You will be expected to stay proactive and communicative whether interacting with staff or assisting customers. Safety is paramount - report hazards and maintain cleanliness in your workspace.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - 6-12 months of experience in retail cash handling and stocking preferred.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A self-motivated individual who can multitask efficiently, possesses basic computer skills, and has experience with cash handling.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
