As a full-time Grocery Stocker and Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team overnight by receiving products, preparing displays, and maintaining the sales floor according to our high standards. Providing excellent customer service to our shoppers and fostering a positive team environment is essential to our store's success. This role involves adhering to our procedures and promoting our core values while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities: - Verify that products meet Whole Foods Market's quality standards.
- Sort and accurately scan waste materials.
- Uphold production standards throughout your shift.
- Stock and maintain neat and organized shelves, bins, and food prep areas.
- Ensure back stock is orderly and accessible.
- Handle all product invoices appropriately when delivered outside of normal receiving hours.
- Check in and accurately report product deliveries.
- Assists in the sorting and receiving of overnight deliveries.
- Arrive at your station on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work; adhere to your scheduled shifts and required training sessions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries swiftly and effectively, and utilizing suggestive selling techniques; manage telephone and paging communications promptly.
- Maximize sales by effectively prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products.
- Ensure compliance with established procedures for Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; uphold equipment cleanliness and safety standards.
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy in signage and pricing.
- Immediately report any safety hazards or violations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by leadership.

The compensation for this role ranges from $17.00 to $21.20 per hour, based on experience. Whole Foods Market offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off, and employee discounts, among others. Eligibility for benefits is determined at the time of hire. New team members who successfully complete their first 90-days may qualify for a base rate increase.
