Pay Rate: $13 - $21/hr (Starting at $17.69)
Schedule: Open availability required, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities: - Front End Duties:
- Provide customers with an outstanding CHEF'STORE experience by building strong relationships.
- Process sales and handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems.
- Ensure accurate barcode scanning and report discrepancies to management.
- Perform visual inspections for product tampering and verify cart contents during customer exits.
- Assist with store opening and closing as per assigned shifts.
- Sales Floor & Stocking:
- Focus on increasing sales while managing shrinkage effectively.
- Help customers locate products and inform them of available services.
- Assist in receiving inventory and maintain neat, orderly, and stocked shelves.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly labeled and priced.
- Participate in inventory management and maintain proper product rotation.
- Customer Courtesy:
- Maintain a clean, safe shopping environment by following safety protocols.
- Keep the sales floor, restrooms, and outdoor areas clean and inviting.
- Return shopping carts from parking areas and ensure they are in good condition.
Who We're Looking For: We seek individuals with at least 6-12 months of retail cashier or stocking experience. Customer service experience is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications: - Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with basic computer skills and cash handling.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Physical Qualifications: Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
