Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 Year 3 - $19.00 Year 4 - $19.00 Year 5 - $20.00
Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Collaborates with team members and communicates effectively with your leader.
Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
Engages in other assigned tasks to contribute to store operations.
Cashier Responsibilities: Efficiently processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning duties, and maintains pristine merchandise displays.
Delivers exceptional customer service and helps customers with their needs.
Provides valuable feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, and operational issues.
Participates in inventory counts according to guidelines, ensuring stock accuracy.
Adheres to cash policies to minimize losses.
Stocker Responsibilities: Stocks shelves and rotates products effectively to ensure freshness for customers.
Follows merchandising guidelines to create attractive displays.
Organizes new inventory and properly disposes of packaging materials.
Operates equipment according to safety procedures.
Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
Stockers must be able to lift products weighing up to 45 pounds to various heights.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Strong commitment to providing prompt and courteous customer service.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
Proficient in interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
Strong time management skills.
Familiarity with company products and services.
Cashiers must operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
Must comply with state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Stockers must have morning availability with shift starts as early as 5:00 a.m.
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous retail experience is favored.
A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge.
