Job Title: Metal Shop Laborer 1st Shift: Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:00pm) +OT as required
Job Description Currently seeking 2 Deburring candidates to join our team. These entry-level roles involve the grinding down/sanding of parts with hand tools.
Responsibilities - Perform deburring tasks on metal and plastic parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying and correcting any defects or imperfections.
- Maintain and clean deburring tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Record and report production data, including the number of parts deburred, any issues encountered, and actions taken to resolve them.
Essential Skills - Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong adherence to safety standards.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience in industrial painting on metal, such as automotive, powder coating, or using an HVLP paint gun.

Work Environment Shop environment that is not climate controlled, though we have heaters for the winter and fans for the summer. PPE is required (Steel Toes, Safety Glasses, Paint Mask, etc.). The environment can be loud as it is a machining shop. The floor is well organized and easy to navigate.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
