Role: GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Analyst Location: Dallas, TX onsite Job type- ContractRole Summary: This position requires an experienced IT professional to manage and enhance the organization's IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance framework. The GRC Analyst will be responsible for developing policies, performing risk assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards (like COBIT, FFIEC, NIST 800-53), and collaborating across teams to strengthen the overall IT security and compliance posture.
Key Responsibilities: - Policy & Documentation: Develop, maintain, and ensure the high quality of IT policies, procedures, and associated documentation. Ensure these documents align with GRC objectives and organizational goals.
- Framework Implementation & Management: Work extensively with IT GRC frameworks such as COBIT, and compliance/security/audit frameworks like FFIEC and NIST 800-53.
- Gap Analysis & Improvement: Conduct gap analyses to identify weaknesses or areas for improvement within the existing IT GRC processes and recommend solutions.
- Risk Assessment & Compliance Monitoring: Utilize GRC tools for performing risk assessments, monitoring compliance activities, and generating reports.
- Problem Solving: Identify IT GRC-related issues and implement effective solutions to enhance security and compliance.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively within a team and coordinate efforts across different departments. Clearly present findings, analysis, and recommendations to various stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience specifically in IT Security, Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management.
- Framework Knowledge: Demonstrable experience working with COBIT and other relevant frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, NIST 800-53).
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using GRC tools for risk, compliance, and reporting. Proficiency in standard office software suites.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities are essential for processing complex information and making informed decisions.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Personal Attributes: Must demonstrate good judgment, meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to handle a wide range of challenges and tasks effectively in a complex environment.
