Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University's University Galleries is seeking several Part-Time Graphic Designer - Boca Raton, FL.
University Galleries exhibition graphic designer will support a high-profile art exhibition opening in Fall 2025. This role involves developing both public-facing promotional materials and in-gallery exhibition graphics, working collaboratively with the exhibition's curators and designer to create a unified and accessible visual experience.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Develop the visual identity and branding for the exhibition.
- Design and produce marketing materials, including print and digital assets (posters, postcards, web banner graphics, social media templates, etc.).
- Collaborate with curators and exhibition designers to create gallery graphics, including wall text, labels, and wayfinding signage.
- Ensure all design deliverables are clear, cohesive, and meet accessibility and production standards.
- Prepare print-ready files and liaise with vendors and printers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and five years of experience; or an associate degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of experience required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Experience in graphic design, preferably in a museum, gallery, or arts context.
Strong design portfolio showing both 2D promotional work and 3D/exhibition design.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.
Salary:
$16.50 - $19.00 per hour.
