Title: Graphic Design Intern, Partnerships Solutions

Overview:

The Washington Commanders are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join the Partnerships department as a seasonal intern to spearhead the design and development of Commanders Partnership creative. The Partnership Solutions Graphic Design Intern will support a broad range of department specific initiatives and campaigns, focused primarily on sales presentation templates, illustrative mockups, and design elements. A successful candidate must be a quick-thinking, creative individual who demonstrates a high level of independence. This internship will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both graphic design and sports marketing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Sales Deck Design: Create visually compelling and impactful sales presentations and pitch decks for sponsorship proposals, focusing on clearly conveying the value of sports partnerships.

Visual Storytelling: Create slide templates, mock ups, graphics, case studies and data visualizations to tell a compelling story and engage potential sponsors, highlighting key metrics, benefits, and partnership opportunities.

Template Creation: Develop and maintain a library of sales deck templates and design assets that can be easily customized for different clients and sponsorship packages.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all sales materials maintain consistent branding and sponsor guidelines, presenting a cohesive and professional image across presentations.

Design Iterations: Collaborate with the team to incorporate feedback and make revisions to sales decks to continuously improve their effectiveness in winning sponsorships.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and success teams to ensure that all sales decks align with the broader marketing strategy and messaging.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Graphic Design Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools. Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation software is a plus.

Attention to Detail: Ability to produce clean, professional, and error-free designs, ensuring all materials are polished and on-brand.

Visual Communication: Solid understanding of how to use design elements, typography, and color to effectively communicate messages and engage audiences.

Data Visualization: Ability to translate data and metrics into easy-to-understand visual formats, including charts, graphs, and infographics.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Creativity & Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively and propose fresh design solutions to effectively communicate the value of sponsorships and partnerships.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.

Interest in Sports Marketing: A passion for sports, sponsorships, and branding is highly desirable, as is a basic understanding of how sponsorships work in the sports industry.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills, creativity, and ability to create engaging, professional visual content. Experience in designing sales decks or presentations is a plus.

Salary: $15.00/Hourly
