CV Resources is partnering with a dynamic and mission-driven organization to find a skilled Grants & Finance Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role involves guiding a small finance team while managing the financial oversight and coordination of grant funds to ensure full compliance and accurate reporting. About the Role: This position plays a critical role in supervising daily operations within the finance department. You'll support staff, coordinate assignments, offer mentorship and guidance, and assist in performance development. This person will also serve as the go-to for troubleshooting financial issues related to grant funding and internal procedures. Key Responsibilities: Grant Oversight & Compliance
• Ensure accurate tracking and usage of grant-related funds in accordance with regulatory and donor requirements
• Assist with the preparation of grant budgets and financial plans that align with programmatic needs
• Monitor expenditures throughout the lifecycle of the grant, ensuring timely and appropriate use of funds
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial data during grant proposal development
• Stay informed on federal and state regulations and ensure institutional compliance Financial Reporting & Account Reconciliation
• Prepare detailed financial reports for funders and internal stakeholders
• Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations to ensure financial records reflect actual activity
• Support timely processing of reimbursements, journal entries, and interdepartmental transfers
• Maintain well-organized financial documentation to support internal and external audits
• Integrate grant data into existing accounting systems to streamline tracking and reporting What We're Looking For:
• Strong understanding of nonprofit or higher education grant funding
• Knowledge of federal grant compliance standards (especially OMB Uniform Guidance)
• Solid accounting background with hands-on experience in financial reporting and reconciliation
• Excellent organizational and team coordination skills
• Previous experience supporting or leading a small finance team a plus PandoLogic.
