Essential Functions Reviews and evaluates grant program infrastructure utilizing 2 CFR 200 and Grant Accountability and Transparency Act Administrative (GATA) Rules; proposes efficiencies and standards. Identifies and develops training for grant and grantee staff, based on grant infrastructure process and changes. Serves as working supervisor. Plans, directs, and tracks corrective action plans and designs relative processes and procedures for efficient and effective internal controls including but not limited to corrective action plans resulting from findings from financial, compliance, single and programmatic audits and reviews of the Department. Serves as management team leader to review and evaluate Federal and State reporting submissions to resolve reporting issues. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college. Requires three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the fields of fiscal management, accounting, budgeting, internal auditing, insurance and/or finance. Preferred Qualifications Prefer at least three (3) years' experience developing grant infrastructure policy and procedures that are compliant with 2 CFR 200 and Grant Accountability and Transparency Act Administrative Rules. Prefer at least three (3) years' experience communicating and collaborating with internal and external parties to review, evaluate and create policies and procedures regarding agency-wide grant program infrastructure. Prefer at least three (3) years' experience providing presentations and trainings in person and via electronic methods to small to large size audiences including internal and external presentations, which require a high level of communication and ability to engage audience members. Prefer at least three (3) years' experience managing and guiding the work of subordinates. Prefer intermediate level experience in the use of desk top software including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNet, Teams, Webex and Smartsheet. Conditions of Employment Requires appropriate, valid driver's license. Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate. Requires completion of a background check and self-disclosure of criminal history.
