Welcome to Allied Cooperative. We re hiring a Grain Originator Location Manager to join our team in Auburndale, WI (about 25 miles northwest of Stevens Point). In this role you will oversee daily operations of the grain facility in Auburndale, with additional grain origination responsibilities across the Stratford and Seymour locations. You will play a key role in managing grain procurement, storage, conditioning, and logistics in support of Allied s overall agronomy and grain strategy.

What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local producers to originate grain for spot sales, grain bank, and forward contracts.
- Support direct-ship programs and open order management.
- Clearly communicate grain policies (e.g., storage, drying, shrink) to customers and internal teams.
- Provide timely market insights and updates to growers and the grain team.
- Lead the daily operations at the Auburndale grain facility, ensuring efficient and safe grain receiving, storage, and loadout.
- Collaborate with the feed mill to ensure continuous supply and quality of grain for feed operations.
- Supervise grain team employees and coordinate logistics with the Transportation Manager.
- Monitor grain quality (moisture, grade) and ensure proper binning, blending, and aeration.
- Operate and maintain grain dryer and grain handling systems in line with agronomic best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of grain inventory, quality metrics, equipment maintenance, and housekeeping activities.
- Support credit policies and ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed by leadership to support overall agribusiness goals.
This job is for you if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in grain handling, merchandising, or agricultural operations.
- Proven experience in grain origination and procurement.
- Supervisory experience within a grain elevator or agricultural facility preferred.
- Bachelor s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with producers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and manage a diverse operational team.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
