Welcome to Linwood Trading. We are hiring an Organic Grain Merchandiser to join our team in Buffalo, NY. In this role you will be responsible for managing the buying and selling of organic grains to maximize profitability while meeting the evolving needs of our customers. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with organic producers, executing contracts, managing logistics, and supporting the overall growth of Linwood Trading s presence in the organic grain market.

What you will be doing:

•  Develop and manage long-term relationships with organic grain producers and customers
•  Source and purchase certified organic grains in accordance with company quality and ethical standards
•  Market and sell organic grain to food processors, feed manufacturers, and other commercial clients
•  Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply/demand dynamics to drive smart purchasing and sales strategies
•  Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and buyers
•  Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery and compliance with organic certification requirements
•  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all transactions, contracts, and inventory
•  Stay informed on organic industry regulations, certification standards, and risk management best practices
This job is for you if you have:

•  Prior experience in organic grain merchandising, commodity trading, or agricultural procurement preferred
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•  Understanding of grain markets, logistics, contract negotiation, and organic certification processes preferred
•  Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
•  Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
