Daily Rate: 90 (PAYE)

A forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Kempston is working in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment to appoint a Graduate SEN TA with a focus on supporting pupils with special educational needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
This mainstream primary school are looking for graduates with a real enthusiasm for learning and the ability to take feedback on board and implement in their work.

In this role, you will:
Work closely with children diagnosed with ASD, providing tailored academic and emotional support
Use creative and differentiated approaches to support individual learning needs
Feedback to parents and SENDCO where appropriate
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Work with several students on a 1-1 basis with a range of special needs
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
Demonstrate a genuine interest in working with children with additional needs
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be proactive, patient, and adaptable in a classroom setting
Have a sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection practice.
