Minot State University Softball Graduate Assistant Position Minot State University (MSU) Softball is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable collegiate coaching experience while pursuing a graduate degree. Position Overview: The Graduate Assistant will primarily focus on the development and implementation of pitching practice plans, in-game strategy, and recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pitching and a commitment to fostering the growth and success of student-athletes both on and off the field. Key Responsibilities: Assist the coaching staff in developing and executing effective pitching practice plans. Assist in strategic guidance and support during games, particularly in the area of pitching. Support recruiting efforts, including the evaluation and communication with prospective student-athletes. Foster a positive, competitive, and inclusive team culture. Collaborate with the coaching staff on administrative tasks and team logistics. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Collegiate playing or coaching experience, preferably with a focus on pitching. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Enrollment in a Minot State University graduate program (must meet program admission requirements). Benefits: A stipend and tuition waiver covering 18 credit hours for the academic year.
