On our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities. You will be an integral part of the program team to assist the government as the Lead Systems Engineer, ensuring the ASIC and receiver card are integrated successfully to meet users' needs. You will provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office. You Have: 6+ years of experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing in DoD space systems
Experience performing systems engineering for the micro-electronics development team
Experience in requirements document development
Experience with Risk processes and Risk Management
Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
Ability to work collaboratively and independently while demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience with military MGUE systems
5+ years of experience with space acquisition
Experience with Aviation Receiver Cards
Experience with ASICS and FPGAs
Experience working with new technology programs for embedded systems
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
