The Government Relations Director is responsible for managing the AIB s legislative affairs, government and media relations and supporting other external relations throughout the State.
Strong communication skills, ability to support a mission and strategic vision, effective use of applicable technology/systems, team building skills are essential. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and take a positive and professional approach to the work. This is a hybrid/remote position and the salary range is $95,991.00 - $125,057.00 with potential growth to $154,928.00/year plus benefits.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Maryland legislative process and procedures, demonstrated experience developing and implementing policy and/or legislative initiatives, experience managing short and long term projects is preferred.
