This is a full-time role, based out of either El Segundo, California or Washington, DC.

Job Description
You'll have extreme ownership over your work, move quickly, and operate with high agency. As we grow, there will be opportunities to expand your role with the company.
You will lead business development efforts with the US Government as a primary customer. You'll support relationship-building with our partners at Department of Defense, NASA, and other federal agencies. You'll drive critical progress to enable our public servants to have access to the best space technology in the world.
Responsibilities may be tailored to the candidate's profile and could include:
- Customer discovery, including visits to government and military installations around the world
- Contract writing and negotiation
- Customer development, to include knowledge capture and frequent feedback for the technical team
- Define contract and mission requirements for the General Galactic team and support requirements definition for government partners
- Drive sales conversations with prospective partners and manage a sales pipeline
Requirements
Successful applicants should have most of the following:
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with US government stakeholders (which can include roles within the USG and/or DoD)
- Demonstrated experience with government procurement practices
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment or similar, ideally in the aerospace industry or adjacent (defense/tech)

Your salary and incentives will be determined individually on the basis of the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base Range: $150,000 to $250,000/year + benefits + stock options plan
