Job Overview:

Search Solution Group is seeking a Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Manager - Region Americas on behalf of our client, a global leader in developing and producing advanced filtration solutions for air, gas, and liquid applications. Based in Durham, NC, this role plays a critical function in ensuring legal, regulatory, and internal control compliance across the Americas region. The position is responsible for enhancing governance frameworks, managing corporate risks, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency, while also aligning policies with international standards and corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct systematic risk analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance and internal control measures.
  • Oversee local implementation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) aligned with international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and TISAX.
  • Ensure legal compliance in data protection by implementing workflows and organizational structures in line with the company's global governance model.
  • Serve as a compliance business partner by promoting awareness, conducting training, and advising on standards and best practices.
  • Support internal audit planning and execution across the Americas region, ensuring follow-up and sustainability of compliance recommendations.
Requirements include:
Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Security, Internal Audit, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, internal audit, compliance, or information security within a corporate environment.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical thinking, risk identification and mitigation, cross-functional collaboration, and communication with senior stakeholders.
Certifications:
  • Not required, though certifications in risk management, compliance, or information security are a plus.
Knowledge:
  • Proven track record in governance, risk management, internal controls, and compliance system implementation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Knowledge of international standards including ISO/IEC 27001.
