Summary The Course Starter/Ranger purpose is to ensure a pleasant, on-time, and enjoyable round of golf. Their responsibilities are to manage the tee's (/) and proper starting of members and guests based on tee times booked. Monitor and enforce our pace of play policy to ensure rounds of golf are played within the allotted amount of time.
Essential Functions- Managing the starting tee and proper starting of guests and members
- Managing the on-course pace of play, enforcing the pace of play policy with Course Ranger
- Opening & Closing procedures, restocking products (/) supply box (Scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, divot tools)
- Tournament Activities
- Marking and defining the golf course
- Continuing Education related to the position.
- Other Responsibilities Related to Golf Operations
Education/Qualifications/Experience - A working knowledge and understanding of golf, prior experience working in such position at another golf course but not required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
