Piper Companies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented GMP Cleaning Specialist to join a tight knit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and compliance of our critical spaces in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role is crucial in ensuring the facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities of the GMP Cleaning Specialist:
Execute GMP cleaning of critical spaces in accordance with SOPs. Perform emergency GMP cleaning in response to contamination events or deviations in temperature/humidity specifications. Create and revise SOPs as needed. Coordinate with third-party cleaning vendors to ensure timely and thorough cleanings. Conduct daily inspections of rooms to identify cleaning needs, remove trash, and manage gowning disposal. Support facility activities, including equipment calibration and coordinating QC GMP equipment management with incoming vendors. Manage inventory by tracking PAR levels, ensuring material availability, and building manufacturing kits. Assist with material receiving as needed. Participate in 5 hours of continuing education annually in cellular therapy or quality topics. Adapt responsibilities as needed, in consultation with the Assistant Director of QA/QC, Associate Director of Quality, and Facility Director. Work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings, and weekends, based on facility needs. Qualifications of the GMP Cleaning Specialist:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred Previous experience in GMP cleaning or a related field Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work different hours as required. Compensation for the GMP Cleaning Specialist:
