Were looking for a Glue Line Operator who thrives in a hands-on environment and is ready to make a direct impact in our fast-paced production facility. Position Overview: As a Glue Line Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating specialized machinery used in the production of laminated topsan essential component of the products Palmer Hamilton is known for. Working alongside a dedicated team, you will help maintain our high standards for quality, precision, and production efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, isnt afraid of getting a little messy, and can keep things running smoothly next to the heat of a busy oven line. Key Responsibilities: -Set up, operate, and maintain the glue line machine, including loading materials as needed. -Ensure that all laminated products meet quality specifications by performing regular inspections and quality control checks. -Meet or exceed established production rates while adhering to safety and quality standards. -Maintain accurate production records and documentation throughout the manufacturing process. -Operate other woodworking and laminating equipment as assigned by management. -Perform routine and minor maintenance on glue machines and related equipment to ensure efficient operation. -Safely handle messy adhesives and work in proximity to heated equipment as part of the daily workflow. Position Expectations: -Stay alert for defects in raw materials and notify the Team Leader promptly when quality issues arise. -Handle materials and finished parts with care to prevent damage during each phase of production. -Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments to resolve issues and support production flow. -Display flexibility by supporting other tasks or departments as needed. -Work collaboratively to help your team meet production goals and maintain schedule adherence. Qualifications: -Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. -Solid understanding of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). -High School Diploma or equivalent required. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, routers, production schedules, and inventory documentation. -Basic communication and problem-solving skills. -Comfortable using both power and manual material handling equipment.
