Job Purpose: The company is in search of a highly analytical and forward-thinking
Business Analyst / System Analyst to serve as a key link between business objectives and technical implementation. This role is responsible for evaluating business processes, capturing and documenting requirements, and collaborating with technology teams to develop and implement effective system solutions that align with organizational strategy.
Requirements Key Responsibilities - Partner with business stakeholders to identify needs and convert them into well-defined technical and functional requirements.
- Analyze existing systems and workflows to uncover areas for improvement and increased efficiency.
- Create comprehensive documentation such as process flows, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business departments and IT teams to ensure mutual understanding of goals and requirements.
- Contribute to the design, testing, and roll-out of new applications or system upgrades.
- Assist with project coordination tasks, including timeline management, status tracking, and progress reporting.
- Support user onboarding through training and clear communication regarding new or updated systems.
- Lead or assist in user acceptance testing to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
- Keep abreast of technological advancements and trends relevant to business systems and analytics.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.
- Solid grasp of business operations and the software/system development lifecycle.
- Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and communication.
- Proficient in requirements elicitation, documentation, and process modeling.
- Familiarity with development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Capable of collaborating across multiple teams and departments.
Preferred Skills - Experience using project and task management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL.
- Exposure to programming or scripting languages is an advantage.
