Leading global consultancy seeks a Global Regulatory Lawyer

Join their highly skilled global in-house legal team in this newly created Associate Director position. This strategic role involves leading on UK and EU regulations, including but not limited to the EU AI Act, NIS2, sanctions, ESG, modern slavery, DORA, and horizon scanning for new developments. You will advise on new compliance obligations, collaborate with external counsel, and work with colleagues across the global team and international offices.

This role offers the opportunity to support various business functions and serve as the regulatory legal lead for Europe, the UK, and potentially other jurisdictions. It provides a chance to shape and oversee the global regulatory function, with excellent career progression, within a supportive, friendly, and well-regarded legal team.

Requirements include over 10 years' PQE with a UK or European legal qualification as a solicitor or qualified attorney, and proven experience, ideally in-house at a global organization leading regulatory projects. A broad regulatory practice and a strong private practice background at a top-tier City law firm are important.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with gravitas, business acumen, and the ability to improve processes across the international business. A calm, proactive, versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive attitude, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are essential.
