ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Quality Specialist to specifically support with the end to end process of providing a store-brand product to retailers. You will be contributing to a dynamic environment that will involve anything from a Store-brand amendment to existing product, through to being the first of a kind to market. Both are equally important for us to stay as a thought leader within at home testing, and keeping innovation flowing to the retailers. This hybrid role works closely with cross-functional teams on Store Brand products, and acts as the representative of Q&R ensuring timely delivery of objectives across multiple regions, including Australia (AUS), the United States (USA), the United Kingdom (UK), and the European Union (EU). Effective stakeholder communication is essential, as the role requires coordinating efforts between internal teams and external partners to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Quality & Regulatory Strategy by suitable priotitisation of activities, timely response to time-critical activities, and thorough documentation of essential evidence and key decisions within the quality management system.
- Facilitate the proper documentation of training processes (within the quality and regulatory departments and cross-functionally) within the quality management system and support
- Ensure that all employees' training records are accurate within the eQMS
- Ensure good documentation practices and data integrity principles throughout the organisation
- Demonstrate the quality objectives in all activities and liaison with the wider business functions
- Working with cross-functional leads to ensure the training system is accurate and reflects current working practices
- To project manage Q&R monthly workshops which aim to provide engaging and informative quality & regulatory awareness training to the wider business
- Ensure that 2San's HR platform (BambooHR) & eQMS are homogeneous
- Provide support to the HR team and hiring managers to ensure that the onboarding & offboarding process of all employees runs smoothly
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Represent Quality & Regulatory on all Retailer projects
- Work alongside the product team to ensure that the NPD process is followed, and we are compliant.
- End to end completion of onboarding both supplier and product, integrating retailer requirements, through to shelf-ready product
- Work closely with the Regulatory team to ensure that registration activities are completed where required
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to meet project timelines, budgets, and requirements
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Technical Expertise
- Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., life sciences, biomedical engineering). A medical degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years post qualified experience in a similar role, preferably within a start-up or scale up environment.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment at the Boston office
AND
- Strong project management skills across multiple regions and functions.
- Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite
- Experience within a fast-paced and high energy environment
- Experience of troubleshooting problems and providing recommendations.
- Ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
