Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Global Product Manager to join the team at Airedale by Modine. This position will report directly to the Product Management and Marketing Director for the Data Center vertical segment, focusing specifically on the CRAH and Fanwall product categories across all regions. Your role will be crucial in enhancing our profitability, maintaining our technical advantages, and defining our unique selling propositions in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee product line profitability, focusing on gross margin and pricing throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the designated product category within the Data Center vertical across all regions.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, determine competitive positioning, and make informed pricing decisions for the product category.
  • Identify and prioritize new product development opportunities, leading their commercialization process.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to create a cohesive strategy for the entire product portfolio and system solutions.
  • Gather and integrate customer feedback to ensure products and experiences meet market demands, acting as the internal advocate for customer needs.
  • Support Regional Product Managers in executing the strategy and projects in their respective areas.
  • Research market size, profitability trends, and key dynamics to influence and recommend the product roadmap effectively.
  • Identify strategic areas of focus and opportunities for exit in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Work closely with Aftermarket operations and Commercial controls to capture all lifecycle revenue.
  • Analyze competitor offerings to discover and enhance unique selling points (USP).
  • Establish pricing by analyzing market research, sales costs, and production forecasting.
  • Recommend the nature and scope of current and future product lines based on tangible value propositions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time; this role can be based at any of our global locations or consider remote work arrangements.
Required Education & Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in engineering or a related technical field. Relevant experience in technical products and manufacturing can substitute for engineering qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant products and markets is preferred, ideally including some commercial or client-facing roles such as Sales, Applications, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • Exceptional command of English, both written and spoken.
