With a growing team of procurement, technology, and operations experts spanning nearly 20 countries, they seek a seasoned procurement leader to shape and elevate their global marketing procurement strategy. This high-impact role goes beyond traditional category management, focusing on strategic planning, business partnering, and driving value across the organization on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement Planning: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales, etc.) to develop and execute strategic procurement plans for marketing and other key spend categories, maximizing value and mitigating risk
- Transformative Initiatives: Lead projects to streamline and elevate global RFP, negotiation, and contracting processes, driving best-in-class sourcing practices
- Advisory Role: Provide expert guidance on supplier market dynamics, helping stakeholders navigate the landscape, assess risks, and make informed decisions
- Best Practices & Sustainability: Drive the adoption of procurement best practices and integrate ESG/sustainability considerations into supplier engagements
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve cost-efficiency, quality, and service excellence, while fostering innovation across the supply chain
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, regularly communicating the progress and impact of strategic procurement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Marketing Procurement Expertise: Proven experience managing marketing spend categories (eg events, martech, digital services) and developing sourcing strategies in these areas
- Strategic Sourcing Background: Strong procurement/sourcing experience, preferably in a business-partnering role focused on strategy
- Global Matrix Experience: Demonstrated success in a global Matrix organization, collaborating with diverse teams across functions and regions
- Education: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required
- Authorization: Full rights to work in the U.S. required
