Position: Global Process Owner - Time Management Based: Haddenham, UK (hybrid) or Lodz, Poland (hybrid) The Global Process Owner ("GPO") for Time and Attendance is responsible for overseeing and optimizing time management policies and processes across multiple regions and departments on a global scale. This leadership role ensures that processes are standardized, efficient, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The GPO will drive continuous improvement initiatives, implement best practices, and maintain compliance with international regulations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage the end-to-end process, implement technology solutions, and ensure consistent quality and performance across all regions. The GPO plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving the overall business process experience for both internal stakeholders and customers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Improvement and Management
- Initiates process and system changes and enhancements; works with operations teams and other cross-functional business partners to prioritize process and system improvement initiatives impacting the global time and attendance process, including planning and managing the project roadmap.
- Drive improvements and establish best-in-class processes for global time and attendance and related programs, ensuring jurisdictional compliance, delivering an outstanding employee experience, and supporting global expansion.
- Drafts current "as-is" and "to-be" business processes, business requirements, and use cases in the business case requirements document; signs off on the final business case; approves cross-functional business requirements impacting the global time and attendance process.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders within Finance, HR, and other related units; continuously optimizes service delivery and leadership models.
- Confirms business readiness before deploying new processes and system enhancements; communicates changes to the user community as needed.
- Partners with HRIT, Benefits, Finance, and related organizations to optimize end-to-end time and attendance processes.
- Communicates priorities, partner requirements, and operational steps for the global transformation roadmap, ensuring organizational alignment.
Payroll Transformation Projects
- Develops policies and strategies for centralized, simplified global time and attendance processes.
- Partners with HR Ops to define and govern policies.
- Collaborates with IT, Finance, and operations to ensure seamless system implementation.
- Creates a global improvement roadmap with prioritization and impact assessment.
- Establishes frameworks and processes to sustain outcomes post-launch, collaborating across functions for ownership and execution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Proven experience in payroll operations within a global organization.
- Experience with SAP, Workday, ADP, or other payroll/time management systems.
- Expertise in global payroll and time management processes, with a strong understanding of business operations and internal controls.
- Ability to assess and influence impacts of process/system changes.
- Autonomous decision-making skills, with the ability to operate in gray areas and take calculated risks.
- Strong understanding of payroll, time and attendance, and employee data management.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder influence.
- Diplomacy and tact in handling sensitive situations.
- Ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
