What You'll Be Doing
The Global Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for managing the administration, support, and delivery of global compensation programs aimed at attracting and retaining talent. This position will administer and support the various compensation and benefit programs including salary planning, merit process and increases, bonus programs, benefit renewals, compensation analysis along with managing the job evaluation and description process and FLSA duties testing and determination.
During a Typical Day, You'll
Manage and support the salary planning process and presentation documents to the Executive Leadership Team and Global Compensation Committee
Review the evaluation of all international job positions, determining grade level classification, conducts FLSA duties test for all US positions while providing feedback and working with People Innovation staff and/or manager on the job description to ensure consistent global standards
Conduct compensation analysis ranging from location-based analysis to annual salary comparisons, gathering data from varying sources, partnering with Operations and Finance for impact potential on margin and analysis implementation
Reviews and approves all Requisitions and Salary Increase Request Forms (SIRF's) for accuracy and adherence to compensation guidelines as outlined on the Global Compensation Approval Matrix for all global locations
Partnering with WFM, Finance and Pricing on budget data and annual SOW price file builds. Ensuring the highest level of accuracy
Assisting with compensation analysis and job evaluations for potential business bids. Validating researching with salary survey data, national and local government agencies, and internet recruitment sites as a checkpoint
Managing the annual merit program including partnering with the Global People Innovation Team for data accuracy, process timelines, and through the compensation system while maintaining the system database
Partner with the Director, Total Rewards on departmental legal compliance relative to Compensation and Benefits by monitoring and
Assist with annual cycle projects such as Executive Compensation Plans, Annual Incentive Plans, and Operational bonus programs
Assisting and supporting global benefit renewals along with managing the benefit analysis in those countries in which we support
Manage and support the compensation and benefits team provide mentoring and coaching, collaborate on projects, and ensure continuous development of their knowledge of the organization and skills
Provide support Analytics, HR Systems, and payroll functions as needed
Perform other work-related duties and tasks as assigned by management
What You Bring to the Role
Bachelor's degree required
Master's Degree, preferred but not required
HR, Compensation or Benefits Certification a plus
5 to 10 or more years working in Human Resources experience with a minimum of 6 years of compensation and benefits focus along with a minimum of 2 years of experience leading/managing a team
Experience with Oracle, Kronos and Halogen preferred
Job Grading Methodology (HAY, IPE Mercer, WTW, etc.)
International pay bands development
Strong Microsoft Office skills including use of analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel
Organizational skills and flexibility for changing priorities ensuring a strong attention to detail
Leadership skills - demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team ensuring engagement and development
Strong communication skills - both written and oral along with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
Complex problem-solving skills - identification, analysis, evaluation of options, and implementation
Critical Thinking skills - using logic and reasoning to identify strengthens and weakness
