Role & Responsibilities:

  • Retain, develop and grow of the assigned account's revenue, gross margin and volume.
  • Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to execute account development plan.
  • Understand client's challenges and provide competitive solutions.
  • Build solid relationships with the key decision makers in charge of global logistic procurement.
  • Drive and implement SOPs to meet client's KPI's.
  • Organize, leads, and review RFQ/KPI/QBR.
  • Drive operational excellence with continued improvement plans.
  • Monitor account receivables to meet company's KPI's.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • At least 7 years' work experience in freight forwarder industry.
  • Proven work experience on account management.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Strong business acumen with a keen aptitude to quickly assimilate new information.
  • Excellent organization, analytical, written, and oral communications skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems.
  • Must be a confident self-starter who can develop effective business relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated, customer service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team.
  • Ability to function independently, with minimal supervision, and thrive within a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent computer knowledge, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly in MS Excel.
