Position: GIS Configuration Engineer

Overview:
Design and build GIS-based solutions for data extraction, translation, collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting. This includes creating interactive dashboards and web mapping applications.
Here's what you will be working on:
- Data Management: Data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and modeling.
- Application Development: Building and maintaining GIS applications using scripting, geo-processing, and other relevant tools.
- System Administration: Configuring, integrating, and optimizing GIS software and hardware.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conducting spatial analysis and generating reports to support decision-making.
- User Support: Providing technical assistance and training to LaDOTD staff

- Leveraging Safe Software's FME Enterprise subscription
- FME Form for workflow process development
- FME Flow for automation of workflows
- Deploy VertiGIS Studio for the enhancement of ESRIs Enterprise for the ArcGIS platform
