Schedule: Full time, hybrid, 3 days/week in office
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative
Work Planning & GIS Analyst to support our lateral hardening programs within the electric utility sector. This role involves developing detailed work scopes using GIS tools, preparing project documentation for stakeholders, and maintaining accurate tracking of project data. Candidates with utility industry or GIS experience are preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities: - Use GIS software (Argus) and TMT to develop work scopes for lateral hardening initiatives
- Create clear, professional maps for proposed work to support community relations efforts
- Build and maintain project workbooks and trackers in Excel
- Peer-review and quality-check work scopes completed by colleagues
- Support planning and gating meetings, including answering questions about created scopes
- Participate in long-range planning and implementation of the annual work plan
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data, set priorities, and balance workloads
- Monitor and adjust implementation plans to ensure resource efficiency
- Work in SharePoint and Power BI environments as needed
Required Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback
Preferred Skills: - Experience in the electric utility industry
- Familiarity with GIS tools (Argus) and TMT
- Experience working in SharePoint and Power BI
Education & Experience: - 0-5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
