The Head Coach promotes an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The Head Coach provides leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the other staff and administration of the Grand Island Public Schools.
1. Coordinates and supervises the Girls Wrestling program and team.
2. Promote an appreciation of teamwork, and sportsmanship.
3. Coordinates the design of a training program, practice, practice plans, and game program.
4. Coordinates the organization and supervision of the athletes to assure that the program is properly implemented.
5. Ensure that all athletic activities conform to GIPS standards and policies.
6. Communicate effectively with all members of the school district and community.
7. Supervises all assistand coaches and creates their roles within the structure of the wrestling team. (Summer workouts, camps, in-season responsibilities, etc.)
