We areseeking a Locums Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionateand comprehensive care to elderly patients in Philadelphia, PA. This positionoffers a varied shift schedule and requires on-call coverage every third week(Monday - Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 AM, and full-day coverage on weekends). The Nurse Practitioner will provide primaryand specialized geriatric care in long-term care settings, conducting patientassessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans for thefrail and elderly population. Responsibilities include managing acute andchronic medical conditions, coordinating medication management, andimplementing preventive care strategies.
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania NP License
- AANP or ANCC Certification
- DEA & Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS) Registration
- BLS Certification
- 5-7 years of NP experience required, preferably in long-term care.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
