General Surgery job

General Surgery opening 2 hours to New York City. You will join a 192-bed non-profit facility with 42 outpatient Care Centers to join their established team. You will provide comprehensive surgical care to patients across a broad spectrum of general surgery procedures. This position offers a patient-centered focus with a balanced lifestyle in a community setting rich with cultural and artistic venues.

Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including but not limited to: appendectomies, hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, and bowel surgeries Participate in on-call rotation for emergency surgical coverage Diagnose and treat a variety of surgical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate with hospital staff, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including follow-up visits and coordination of care Call: Call responsibilities are 1/3 on a rotating basis for emergent OR cases only Negotiable salary; guaranteed base with incentive package.
