We are a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team.
Responsibilities
As a General Orthopaedic Physical Therapist, you will be at the forefront of patient care, helping individuals recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
Evaluating and diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing a treatment plan.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery.
Depending on the case, providing pre and post-surgical rehabilitation to ensure optimal recovery.
Implementing sports medicine strategies to help athletes recover from injuries and improve performance.
Educating patients and their families about what to expect from the recovery process and how best to cope with challenges.
Documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Staying updated with the latest research and applying new knowledge to clinical practice.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:
A degree in Physical Therapy (PT, DPT) or Occupational Therapy (OTR).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on orthopaedics.
Additional certifications that would be welcomed: Certification in Dry Needling (Certified DN) and Neuro-Proprioceptive Taping (CNPT) i
Knowledge of sports medicine and experience in working with athletes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
The ability to handle a busy caseload while maintaining high standards of care.
