JOB-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES - Offer an inviting atmosphere through friendly and polite gestures
- Greet customers promptly and provide all customers with exemplary customer service
- Ensure timely and precise cash register transactions, taking accurate credit card and cash payments for purchases
- Maintain accurate cash drawer. Count register drawers at the beginning and end of the shift
- Keep current customer mailing lists
- Merchandise products for presentation on the showroom floor. Fold and hang merchandise as required. Attach sensors, labels, and price tags
- Maintain the aesthetic appeal of merchandise displays to customers via dusting, cleaning, and stocking
- Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly
- Handle customer complaints sensibly using a pleasant attitude to satisfy customers and retain loyalty
- Participate in periodic inventory of merchandise
