JDP is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager of Sales in Nashville, TN area to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management within the manufacturing sector. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and new product launches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall company goals.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Oversee the development and execution of sales training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Manage the sales budget, including forecasting, expense management, and resource allocation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and generate leads.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or General Manager of Sales in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
