Job Title: General Manager - Business Development (Technology/IT Service Sales)

About the Role: The General Manager - Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth with a focus on new business development. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to expand market presence, close large-scale deals, and deepen relationships with enterprise clients.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Technology Sales professional with a deep understanding of the TTH domain, a track record of consistent quota achievement, and strong relationship-building capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives across U.S. regions.
  2. Build a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities across travel tech, airlines & hospitality clients. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform GTM strategies.
  3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs and key stakeholders.
  5. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  6. Address client concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  7. Lead complex sales cycles from lead generation through contract closure

Performance Management & Reporting

  1. Maintain and communicate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards.
  2. Analyze sales performance metrics to improve win rates and sales productivity.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in technology sales, with a strong focus in TTH vertical
  2. Familiarity with consultative sales frameworks
  3. Proven experience in selling product & IT services to enterprise clients.
  4. Strong grasp of emerging technology trends (eg, cloud, AI/ML, digital platforms, CX solutions). Ability to manage large, complex deals and navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making environments.
  5. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
