Our client in Raliegh operates a premier fine dining restaurant in Raleigh, NC and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our guest-focused team. As part of a renowned chef-driven restaurant group, this position offers the unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping a premier dining destination in the heart of Raleigh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to deliver a seamless front-of-house and back-of-house experience.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to achieve service excellence and maintain high standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, optimize profitability, and enhance guest loyalty.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Manage budgeting, inventory, staffing, and scheduling to control costs and maximize revenue.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment that aligns with our brand values.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, vendors, and the local community to enhance the restaurant's reputation and drive business.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage, train, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first attitude.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and inventory control.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations with grace.
- Experience in opening a new restaurant is a plus.
