Key Responsibilities: - Complete all required training, including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
- Obtain Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences
- Manage staffing: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top talent
- Provide training, mentoring, and coaching for team members
- Create effective work schedules to optimize sales and control labor costs
- Delegate shift assignments with clear expectations
- Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
- Foster a positive culture and high team morale through strong leadership
- Drive sales and manage profitability
- Build community relationships to promote the restaurant
- Ensure compliance with all guidelines and safety standards
- Conduct performance reviews for crew and management
- Handle guest and team member complaints respectfully and efficiently
- Work safely and ensure safety guidelines are followed
- Fulfill other duties necessary for smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications: - Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Open availability with the ability to work at least 5 days and 48 hours per week
- Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Background check and motor vehicle report required
- Strong leadership, organizational skills, and teamwork required
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- 3-5 years of management experience required; restaurant management experience preferred
Physical Requirements: - Continuous movement and ability to stand, walk, and sit
- Occasional bending and climbing
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Use of hands and wrists for gripping and fine motor tasks
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
- Safe operation of restaurant equipment
