Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete all required training, including Zaxbys General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
  • Obtain Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification
  • Deliver outstanding guest experiences
  • Manage staffing: sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top talent
  • Provide training, mentoring, and coaching for team members
  • Create effective work schedules to optimize sales and control labor costs
  • Delegate shift assignments with clear expectations
  • Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards
  • Foster a positive culture and high team morale through strong leadership
  • Drive sales and manage profitability
  • Build community relationships to promote the restaurant
  • Ensure compliance with all guidelines and safety standards
  • Conduct performance reviews for crew and management
  • Handle guest and team member complaints respectfully and efficiently
  • Work safely and ensure safety guidelines are followed
  • Fulfill other duties necessary for smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Open availability with the ability to work at least 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Background check and motor vehicle report required
  • Strong leadership, organizational skills, and teamwork required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience required; restaurant management experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Continuous movement and ability to stand, walk, and sit
  • Occasional bending and climbing
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Use of hands and wrists for gripping and fine motor tasks
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
  • Safe operation of restaurant equipment
