General Manager

The Restaurant General Manager will be able to execute all restaurant administrative duties. You must be able to provide the leadership necessary to ensure the restaurant can sustain an acceptable level of day-to-day operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Creating value for our shareholders through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
  2. Effectively manage a corporate owned restaurant within the policies and guidelines of the company, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction at all times.
  3. Controls day-to-day operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team
  4. Ensures OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy are met
  5. Controls profit & loss, by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
  6. Recruits, interviews, and hires team members, conducts performance appraisals, takes discipline action, motivates and trains
  7. Has authority to hire and fire (or participate in those decisions)
  8. Ensures maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds through the use of a preventative maintenance program
  9. Ensures food quality and 100% customer satisfaction
  10. Ensures complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing programs
  11. Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe work behaviors of the team
  12. Recognition and motivation efforts

  6. College or university Degree Preferred but will consider experience
  7. Supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility
