We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and compassionate General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of affordable housing programs, compliance requirements, and resident relations, while ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and operate efficiently.

Description
Manage the daily operations of assigned affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HUD and tax credit programs.
Monitor and enforce tenant leases, including rent collection, lease renewals, and addressing tenant concerns in a timely manner.
Supervise and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are properly maintained and repairs are completed promptly.
Develop and manage property budgets, including monitoring expenses and making cost-effective decisions to improve the property's financial performance.
Oversee tenant relations, including addressing disputes, organizing community events, and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.
Profile
General Manager Should have:
Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing or similar programs.
Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and programs, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8.
Proven experience managing property budgets, rent collection, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
