We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and compassionate General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of affordable housing programs, compliance requirements, and resident relations, while ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and operate efficiently.

Description


  • Manage the daily operations of assigned affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HUD and tax credit programs.

  • Monitor and enforce tenant leases, including rent collection, lease renewals, and addressing tenant concerns in a timely manner.

  • Supervise and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are properly maintained and repairs are completed promptly.

  • Develop and manage property budgets, including monitoring expenses and making cost-effective decisions to improve the property's financial performance.

  • Oversee tenant relations, including addressing disputes, organizing community events, and ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction.


Profile


General Manager Should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing or similar programs.

  • Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and programs, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8.

  • Proven experience managing property budgets, rent collection, and financial reporting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
